Membership of the Cavendish Cavaliers costs £30 annually, with the membership year running from 1st April to 31st March. Joining the club has a number of benefits:
- Priority goes to members in team selection (members get first refusal)
- Social membership of Babbacombe CC is included (normally £15)
- Reduced price drinks at the Cavendish
- Eligibility for end-of-season awards
- Discounts on social events and club kit
- Voting rights in club business and awards
- The club is also happy to subside the cost of members attending umpire/scorers courses if it will benefit the club.
We encourage all regular players to join the club. Social membership is also available at a reduced cost of £10 a year.
Please note that as of July 2010, all players, member or otherwise, must pay a £2 match fee to cover the cost of our annual insurance. Prior to this date members did not have to pay any match fees. This is in addition to tea money, which is usually £3 (all-day games only). We anticipate that this will generate a small excess which will be passed on to members in other ways.
