Good grief, this has been rather hectic.

I didn’t think about a redesign of the Cavaliers’ site until it was a bit too late. A couple of Sundays ago, I sat down to write the match report from the Mark Park Larkers game and reflected on what a hassle hard-coding and uploading each page was.  I suddenly envisaged a new, bold, php-driven site where I’d just have to log in and add whatever I wanted and the site would do the rest for me.

Thanks largely to some timely help from one of my friends, who shall be known only as TRiG, from h2g2, I’m almost there.  The stats, fixtures and results now run from databases, match reports will be blogged, and anyone who has any photos will be able to just upload them directly to the site if they want to.

And you’ll all be able to ask me what the hell I was thinking when I put slip so wide.
